CHOOSE YOUR SITE AND DISCOVER THE UNKNOWN

A geopark is a geologically valuable area that tells visitors the story of the Earth and the processes that shaped it. Geopark connects and seeks harmony between living and inanimate nature, between the activities of local people and their culture.

GEOGUIDES AND EXCURSIONS NOT ONLY FOR EXPERTS

Excursions with a geoguide allow for active exploration of the landscape and its geological uniqueness, such as rock towns, historic mining works or fossils – fossilised testimonies of life millions of years ago. Each guide will take you to unique places and help you to explore their story.

A REGION WITH RESTORED WILDERNESS

The landscape of both geoparks has been significantly affected by human activity – the extraction of raw materials or the military area operation have left their traces. Today, however, they are landscapes with exceptional natural values.

NATIONAL HERITAGE FOR GEOTOURISM ENTHUSIASTS

In addition to preserving and promoting the geological heritage, geoparks focus on supporting environmentally friendly forms of tourism – the development of a specific branch of geotourism.

We look for evidence of dramas and events that once took place and shaped the landscape to its present form. We search for treasures like prospectors once did when searching for precious metals.

GEOTOURISM AS AN ADVENTUROUS LEARNING JOURNEY

Geotourism enables a very active exploration of the landscape and its geological uniqueness, such as rock towns, historic mining works or fossils – a fossilised testimony to life millions of years ago.

Each place is unique and hides many layers. Come with us and explore the restored wilderness area.
