A special area lies between three medieval castles – Ralsko, Bezděz and Děvín. The former military area has been turned into a unique green island with a rich geological heritage, offering exceptional scenery and untouched nature. Geopark Ralsko is situated in the tourist area Máchův kraj.

Hradčanská vyhlídka (lookout)
Sandstone rock with an extraordinary view of Ralsko and the nearby Hradčany airport.

Stohánek
The solitary rock with the remains of a guard castle and hermitage provides a beautiful view of the surroundings.

ROCK THEATRE (Skalní divadlo)
A small sandstone rock formation with unique “iron logs” and a rock gate.

Děvín
A distinctive peak with the remains of an extensive medieval castle and the remains of iron ore mining.

Lake Mácha
The largest pond in northern Bohemia, founded in the 14th century, offers many opportunities for relaxation and water sports.

Skalní brána (natural arch)
One of the largest sandstone rock gates in northern Bohemia.

Juliina vyhlídka (lookout)
A lookout platform carved into the rock named after Countess Juliana Hartig, who got the lookout for her birthday.

Vranovské skály
A smaller sandstone rock town with interesting formations in the form of rock windows.

The Zábrdka Valley
The quiet valley of the river hides many secrets – rocks and caves, springs, water mills as well as interesting little rooms carved in stone.

Peak Hamerský Špičák
Charactetistic peak formed on a volcanic vein. Remains of a medieval castle, iron ore mining sites, sandstone quarries.
