A special area lies between three medieval castles – Ralsko, Bezděz and Děvín. The former military area has been turned into a unique green island with a rich geological heritage, offering exceptional scenery and untouched nature. Geopark Ralsko is situated in the tourist area Máchův kraj.

Kozí hřbet
Distinctive ridge with steep slopes, several sandstone rock towers, iron ore mining.

Havířský vrch (peak havířský)
An inconspicuous hill on the shore of Lake Mácha with one of the best preserved iron ore mines in the geopark.

Rpck gate
The largest sandstone rock gate in the vicinity, 5 m wide and 4 m high.

Malá and Velká Buková
Malá and Velká Buková form one of the landmarks of the region.

Černý rybní (pond named Black)
Transitional peat bog forming in the overgrown littoral of Černý rybník.

Peak Děvín
A prominent peak with the ruins of Castle Děvín and tunnels as the remnants of the former iron ore business in the area.

The Rock Theatre
A small sandstone rock formation with a rock gate and examples of sandstone erosion in the form of petrified trees.

Ralsko
The striking basalt mountain Ralsko with the extensive ruins of the castle at the top, from where there is a beautiful circular view.
