Skalní brána (natural arch)

This is a true surprise in the middle of the woods! This rock arch invites you to enter the pine forest deep below it – or the sky high above it. It depends what angle you look at it from, but both vistas are well worth it, so take the time to get a good look at this “gate”. It “grows” out of the top of a massive sandstone outcrop. The arch is 4.5 meters wide, and a five-meter giant could pass under it at its highest point. This makes it one of the biggest of its kind in our country.

On the ridge crowned by the arch, there are several more scattered sandstone formations, forming a small rock town. The surrounding forest is cozy, clean and full of blueberries, cranberries and mushrooms in the right season.
