The Čihadlo and Pinka rock towers
Site Description
A group of isolated rocks rises in the middle of a low pine forest. The top of the largest rock, called Pinka, is accessible from one side and offers an amazing view of the surrounding sights, such as the castles of Bezděz and Starý Bernštejn or the nearby peaks of Borný and Havířský vrch. Not far from here, another isolated rock can be found, which has the shape of a rock wall and a narrow rock needle from the front view. The name of this rock formation is Čihadlo and it is made of a very hard sandstone with heavy quartz cementing. Massive quartz veins can also be seen here.
